Hello friends 💗

I’m sure you’ve seen the meme that’s been floating around that says “one thing about January is she’s going to make you feel all 31 days of her.” Ain’t that the truth, even if you’re not doing Dry Jan lol. But I’m hoping this email finds you cozy… I’m personally *not* built for anything below 40º and love any excuse to hunker down. Sorry I can’t, I’m busy (by the fire, crushing shows, enjoying my mortgage!).

I once read from one of my favorite authors, Gabby Bernstein, that “your vulnerability is your superpower.” Being open about anything really personal can be scary - but hiding challenges and letting feelings fester can be way scarier. But real friendship comes from being vulnerable and allowing someone else to support you when you truly need it.

So let’s go back to Christmas, when really our world was turned upside down by two events: our miscarriage and the death of our nanny. It feels crazy to type those two things out and anytime I’ve shared with a friend aloud it still feels like I can’t be talking about my life. Two things I would have never ever saw coming.
